The University Aikido Club has been established for over 18 years and
is still one of the core martial arts at the University.
Though not a competitive martial art, it has through the years consistently
enabled students to develop personally.
(The hardest competition is with ones self).
Also to achieve a variety of grades up to
and including black belt.
Instructor: Sensei: Peter Seth - 4th Dan.
Over 49 years martial arts experience (Over 30 Aikido). Experience in a
variety of other martial arts, both mainstream and eclectic.
Accredited Senior Coach and Examiner - (British Aikido Board — Sports Council Affiliated).
Conflict management/resolution trainer.

The club has connections with many different martial arts both locally
and nationally and invites instructors from these arts to give seminars.
This allows students to experience a range of arts which if appropriate
can then be incorporated into their repertoire.
The club also has a very active social life
(for those so inclined)!
